3. settings.gradle

Add the JitPack repository so Gradle can resolve the AKS coordinate. In a modern Android Studio project, repositories live in settings.gradle.kts:

    repositories {
        google()
        mavenCentral()
        maven("https://jitpack.io")
    }
}

If your project still declares repositories at the project level instead (older template, allprojects { repositories { ... } } in the root build.gradle.kts), add it there instead:

allprojects {
    repositories {
        google()
        mavenCentral()
        maven("https://jitpack.io")
    }
}
